Act first where a disruption will cost you most

Financial impact uses your data to turn disruption into a number you can work with. Specialist agents map what you source from each supplier, compare stock against time to recover, and price the days left uncovered.

Industry leaders managing supplier risk with Prewave

Specialist agents that prioritise by revenue at risk

Impact, not exposure

Prewave agents check disrupted parts against your stock, helping you see the ones that genuinely threaten revenue.

Priced at part level

Revenue at risk is calculated per part, taken from the products that part feeds. The same supplier can send a part worth millions and another worth nothing.

A number for the board

Brief management with numbers instead of a supplier list: what the disruption costs, and which supplier and parts drive it.

Assumptions you can audit

Behind each number sits the working that Prewave’s agents used: calculated from buffers, recovery time, and revenue at risk.

Analyst validation

Quantifying impact is now a buying criterion.

The 2026 Gartner® Market Overview for Supplier Risk Management Solutions names quantified resilience a competitive requirement, listing revenue-at-risk and value-at-risk analytics among the areas where vendors differentiate.

It also names demonstrating measurable business value as a challenge the market has not solved.

How it works

1. Unlock

Connect your supply data to your revenue

You bring the parts, the BOMs, the outbound products and projects they feed, alongside the sales figures from your internal systems. Prewave will show you which parts and products a disruption reaches.

Together, they show what each part would cost you with no buffer at all.

2. Evaluate

Find the parts you cannot cover

Specialist agents factor in the stock you have on hand, at your supplier, or in transit – showing what’s left uncovered.

The supplier’s share of a part’s supply is factored in too. A supplier with a ten per cent share puts ten per cent at risk, not the part.

3. Isolate

Measure the shortage window, not the disruption

For each part, exposure starts when buffers run out and end when supply returns.

If you have fifteen days of stock against thirty-six days to recover, the shortage window is twenty-one days, each one carrying a cost.

4. Rank

Compare parts, suppliers and whole disruptions

Specialist agents ensure the same revenue is never counted twice, so part figures add up to a supplier total, and supplier totals add up to the cost of a whole disruption.

This means you can compare parts, suppliers, and disruptions to each other on the same basis.
